Wild Matters

These are among the earliest works in my practice, emerging from direct engagement with natural materials and seasonal change.

Fallen leaves were collected, dried, and reassembled into new forms in Autumn Arranged, Drink Me, and Fall Constellation. In Tracks and Mesh, pine needles were inserted into small holes drilled into walls, forming temporary patterns, lines, and accumulations.

These works began an ongoing inquiry into how simple acts of gathering and arrangement can shift our perception of ordinary materials and our relationship to the natural world. They mark the early roots of a practice grounded in attention, material encounter, and collaboration with the environments around me.
